In his workshop held in February 2014, students had the opportunity to choose a popular song or piece of music that they found inspiring (from classical to techno) and re-imagined their choice through the medium of illustration. As part of the project they discussed design, technique, and using a limited palette to best achieve a visual representation of their choice. They also learned the importance of researching a brief as well as finding a solution through pencil roughs before creating the final artwork.
